The Skylord is a Martian ship, a grand old 'kite': a sailing cloudship. The model is being built based on a wooden model sailing ship with heavy conversion. Crew are from the Parroom Station range, cannon and sails are what the donor vessel was equiped with! Flags - like all of them - are designed on a computer (click here), printed out on paper, sandwiched with PVA glue and then varnished. The bronze 'faces' are quick castings taken in epoxy resin by using the face of a suitable 'Action Figure' pressed in to modeling clay as a mould. To see this ship completed, click here.
