The Ranger is an American
ship, based on a Martian hull, retrofitted with a basic steam engine. It is similar
in design to the Texas but has extra sponsons with
additional guns mounted. for extra firepower: these have 6 pounder HRC and are
supplemented by a 4 inch short with shield at the rear, an old 40 pounder at the
front and twin Gatlings for anti personnel work. The Ah'ny
uthar has similar roots but takes a different direction: a Martian ship on
