Based on a Combat Car hull, the Icarus Industries
20 tonne ACV Transport System, is the truck of choice with Hammer's Slammers.
In use for a variety of tasks from rear echelon support to ammunition haulage
for the Slammers Artillery
"Hog". The vehicle can be fitted with a variety of rear body
configurations.
A reduced number of repositioned fans means that the effectiveness of this
vehicle is not as great as that of some of the front line vehicles.
Armament is varied from none to a single defensive tri-barrel Power gun
for local defence. These vehicles have been fitted with weapons systems
including calliope and missile mounts which benefit from the 'flat bed'
rear of the vehicle. |
